Join us for a night of fun and philantropy! Jimmy and Cynthia Chouteau would like to invite you to be a part of an event for residents of Lee’s Summit Woodland Shores. The Chouteaus have lived in Woodland Shores for a while and would like to invite the community to learn more about their nonprofit initiative, Widow Wednesday. There will be a silent auction and other opportunities to partner with Widow Wednesday.

Widow Wednesday is a 501c3 non-profit founded in 2012 by Jimmy and Cynthia, with the goal of assisting widows and widowers in the greater Kansas City area. Their goal is to connect and build relationships with the widows in our community, sharing God’s love and care for them in visible, practical ways. Sometimes that looks like helping widows and widowers with small tasks they may no longer be able to manage or just spending some quality time with them. Widow Wednesday is more than an organization. It’s you and me, taking up a lifestyle of service in our every day, whether it be Wednesday or any other.

The evening will take place at the lovely Historitc Space at the Stanley in Lee’s Summit. Join us to learn more, volunteer or give towards the project.
